I seek
A moment’s escape,
A moment's blankness.
Escape from thoughts,
Blankness of mind
A moment
when nothing enters exists or exits the mind.
And which isn’t by force.
(Nothing should force me to invite, entertain or drive ‘em away)
A brief period of numbness,
Is what I seek.
